Our Ministries
Comfort Care Bags
Once a month our Exceptional Disciples, pack 80 care bags with items of comfort for those who are experiencing cancer treatment for the first time. These bags are distributed at Virginia Oncology and Riverside Cancer Treatment Center.
Kitchen Ministry
On the third Tuesday of each month, a dedicated team of men and women gather to prepare 130 hot meals for Four Oaks Day Center. Additionally, 25 quick serve breakfasts are prepared weekly for HELP.
Praise Team
Each Thursday night our Exceptional Disciples gather for praise practice, fellowship, and fun. Each member of the team in developmentally delayed but that never stops them from singing praises to God and serving their community through various gifts of service.
North Hampton Community Connection
Twice a year we partner with other churches and businesses in the North Hampton Community to sponsor the North Hampton Community Fair. This is a free event, open to the public, for families to have fun being together.
Disciples Men Fellowship
On the last Thursday of each month the men of the church gather for a business meeting to discuss the property needs of the church. These men not only take care of the church property but also host our annual picnic, cook for the praise team monthly, and fun raise for our camping ministry.
Christian Women Fellowship
On the first Thursday of each month, the women of the church gather for bible study, a meal, and fellowship. These women are always quick to provide a delicious meal whenever needed in the life of the church.
Our Identity
As members of the Christian Church, we confess that Jesus is the Christ,
the Son of the living God, and proclaim him Lord and Savior of the world.
In Christ’s name and by his grace we accept our mission of witness
and service to all people. We rejoice in God, maker of heaven and earth,
and in God’s covenant of love which binds us to God and to one another.
Through baptism into Christ we enter into newness of life
and are made one with the whole people of God. In the communion of the Holy Spirit we are joined together in discipleship and in obedience to Christ.
At the Table of the Lord we celebrate with thanksgiving the saving acts and presence of Christ. Within the universal church we receive the gift of ministry
and the light of scripture. In the bonds of Christian faith we yield ourselves to God
that we may serve the One whose kingdom has no end. Blessing, glory, and honor
be to God forever. Amen.
Sunday Morning
Traditional Sunday school – 9:30 AM
Worship – 10:45 AM
If you are first time visitor, please know our dress code ranges from fancy to jeans and flip flops (my personal favorite). So, please come dressed comfortably. We have multiple doors in which to enter, but most people enter in the double doors under the portico. We are old school, so you will still get a bulletin, but everything is also on the screen. You will find our service to be mix of traditional and compromise. Come check us out, everyone is welcome here.
